Johnny V. Boykins, M.A., N.P., CHSS

Johnny V. Boykins is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in the security industry. As the National Director at PalAmerican Security, he oversees the operational management, strategic development, and regulatory compliance of security services across the United States.

A native of Gulfport, Florida, Johnny grew up with his mother and two younger brothers. He attended the Pinellas County Center for the Arts at Gibbs High School, where he studied classical voice performance and music. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communications with a minor in International Relations from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida. He furthered his education by earning a Master of Arts in Diplomacy and Security Studies and a Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning from Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont.

In 2005, Johnny joined the United States Coast Guard Reserves, specializing in port and maritime security operations. Throughout his service, he was recalled to active duty on multiple occasions, including a deployment to New Orleans, Louisiana, in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, for which he received a presidential citation. He also served at Joint Task Force - Guantanamo in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, where he was named Joint Task Force - Guantanamo Trooper of the Year in 2008.

Johnny’s professional expertise encompasses operational security management, risk and vulnerability assessments, personnel development, compliance oversight, and strategic policy analysis. He also brings a deep understanding of public and strategic communications, climate security, weather resiliency, and fostering work-life balance within the security sector.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Johnny enjoys writing, cooking, traveling, listening to music, savoring sauvignon blanc and bourbon, collecting maps, and reading political thrillers. He resides in Tampa Bay, Florida, with his husband and their German Shepherd, Lord Reiker.
